The day is Thursday, June 1, 2006 ... Yesterday night at Rideau High school, my Men''s Competitive 3 team played their first game together. Let''s just say I wanted to score 5 goals, and I think we didn''t even get 5 shots. Anyway, the first half wasnt too bad, got some good chances. I deaked a couple guys badly and crossed the ball in. I stole the ball once from the goalie (mishandled) and passed it off, that was a good chance. The biggest surprise was how good they played as a team and how PHYSICAL they were. I got fucking schooled like 10-15 times cuz they were so friggin massive. Each guy there had 50 lbs on me but I was 10x faster than them. I got a bruise on my knee, elbowed in the face twice and fucking no calls on me. Our defence really really sucked because well everyone wanted to handle the ball and not just clear it. Our goalie really saved the day though making something like 30 saves lol. Anyway, I was playing striker and I got a few drives but all the positioning was new to me so the coaches were getting angry at me for not scoring any goals. How can I score if we can only get the ball past half like 5 times?
