Eventful Week
The day is Tuesday, June 13, 2006 ... This week (7 days in the past) has been pretty eventful I must say.
First lets start with the new Volvo C70. I didnt think this would be a nice car but I got to see it infront of Mitel. One of the VP''s has it and honestly it is a sick car. Full leather black interior, aggressive headlights, incredible hardtop... whats more to say?
Last week, Friday, I had to do a presentation to two managers at Mitel. It didnt go as well as I had hoped, but honestly I got as much information as I could have. CISCO is a hard nut to crack. They keep their shit secret and its impossible to gather industry research! Anyway, I am moving onto Alcatel and Genesys Systems this week and we will see how well I can do =)
In regards to soccer, it has been pretty fun. We had practise on Sunday and it was good. I felt a lot better than I am normally. We got three new people that hopefully will show up to the game next week! To be prepare, I have been doing 45 min runs, sprinterval training, and some weight lifting lately. I feel great I must say! I scored a goal last Wednesday by popping the ball over the goalie! I was excited I must say. I have consistenly scored 1 goal in every game so far for the last 2 weeks. So lets see where I can take this tugboat.
Last week I started Tai chi classes that one of my older friends told me about. I started it on Saturday and boy was it cold! I couldnt feel my hands when doing tai chi and thats definately distracting when the whole point is to focus. Anyway, we practise in the park and anyone is welcome cause its FREE! love it'' other than the fact the teacher doesnt speak english.
Chiaki is sooo coool! She sent me a box from Japan with a bunch of food from Japan and a pile of books for me to practise Japanese! I was so happy when I received it!!! She even bought me some manga and some pokemon candy! Gawd shes the best... I still remember the night she stayed up all night to take care of me.
