Last Post for awhile
The day is Sunday, September 18, 2005 ... Well I have not posted a message in a long time. Unfortunately, this will probably not get any better. I am now into my second week of school and I can see that this term will be difficult. The problem with creative subjects is that the perfectionists will never be happy and continue to work on projects that should have been finished hours if not days earlier. This is not true in practical subjects like the Sciences or engineering. Once you have the answer you move on and do what you are assigned...
This term''s breakdown:
Intemediate Programming - This will be a fun class. Our teacher is significantly smarter and cooler than touchy Yasser. This guy is chill and wears cool clothes outside of class (saw him at a Game Dev meeting). I personally think this class will be a breeze because I am inclined to programming. I think I might try to push for more programming and possibly a minor in computer sciences. We will just have to see how I do in this class...
Multimedia Data Management - This class I am still assessing how hard it will be. It is basically a combination of database languages with the theory of how to develop a database. A database is pretty much a storage device for massive amounts of ORGANIZED information. He has already given us an assignment that is due Thursday. I don''t know how Phuck Yui will grade but I am hoping it will be light. I will put most of my time into this class. There is a lot of theory to learn surprisingly.
Design and Authoring - This class is with an incredibly qualified individual. I do not remember his name but I am sure I will learn it. He used to be a CTO of a company as well as held various executive type positions in companies like Corel. Anyway, this class teaches us the basics of Macromedia Director MX 10. I will try to learn it on the side and see how it goes...
Audio & Video - Creativity has no definite muse... This class will take a lot of time and a lot of patience to make the masterpieces that was required last year in this class. I pulled no stops last year and I don''t plan on changing the A+ I got last year. Basically it is the same teacher who taught us how to make web-sites last year who is teaching how to make videos and edit them for TV etc this year. This will be a challenge... but fun when you finally get something you like.
CO-OP Education - WOOT! I hopefully will get excellent co-op this year. I need to sign up and be exec at many clubs... just like evil anja.
Psyc 1001 - Okay I did not do as well as I should have last year so I am going to do it again but this time it better be an A+.

Anyway, this term will be difficult. I will have to travel to Queen''s most weekends at the same time managing my time wisely for school, business, and sports. Quite the task I''d say...
