Volleyball MaNia and ImportNITE
The day is Monday, August 8, 2005 ... Saturday::
Well I went to ImportNITE after much confusion on who I was going to go with. I need more car friends... like seriously. This show, in my opinion, was not as good as last year''s. Even though I learnt a lot more about cars this year than I had known last year, I at least got to see some good IMPORT cars and EUROPEAN cars. This time, there was more "Pimp My Ride" style cars but no exotics. The only car that was fucking sick was the NSX. The worst part about the day was my retarded camera died. Wally and I bought batteries thinking that the camera just needed new batteries. Instead we found out the camera was fried IN THE SHOW. They do not let you re-enter so that was just fucking gay. FUCK! That super hot asian girl from the last show was there again. I only got in 14 photos before the camera fried completely. I will post them somewhere I guess.
After ImportNITE I went to the Casino with Anja, Jojo, *qing* (corrected) ding, and Andrew came later. The girls and I watched the fireworks and apparently we went on the best day because it was the South African pyromaniacs. So romantic ;). When we went inside, we only played slots and Ching tried a few random games and lost miserably because we had no idea how to play. OMG I was playing slots on this one machine and when I left some old guy came and won $1200 on it! FUCK!~! I lost all my money and then I stole $2 from Anja and I won it all back. She''s the best. Andrew being the cool guy he is did NOT gamble at all. Instead he just stood there and waited for us to finish. After we were planning on going clubbing but instead we went to Elgin Street Diner cause the homies were hungry. Angela and I shared a cheese poutine, which might I add is very small contrary to popular belief. We were going to go clubbing after THAT but it was too late... We will go another time.
Sunday:: Volleyball MANIA
Angela had originally told me she was not going to come to volleyball but she called me at 3 am to tell me she was going to. She came RIGHT when my dad and I came. Both cars were out because my sister went to work and my mom went to the annual deshantari picnic (which I was supposed to go to but I''d rather not). THERE WERE SO MANY PEOPLE THERE (approx 24) AND THE SAND WAS SO HOT. We played from 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm in the hot, blistering sun. Angela is really good; I will never assume she sucks again. Anyway, we kicked ass most of the time. I ditched her and the rest to play 2 on 2 with the german and my dad versus me and Tim (this 35 to 45 year old GOOD volleyball player). Tim and I won both games 25-17, 25-21.
After vball, my dad took Angela and I to Montana''s. That was a really nice gesture after taking the bus to South Keys and playing so much volleyball. People kept saying rotisserie chicken so thats what we ordererd. Yummm. After that, Angela and I watched this movie called "Dude, where''s the party?". This movie was basically a big BROWN FOB movie. It had Kal Penn in it and it was so funny. "OOGLY BOOGLY GOO"!! There was a guy in it who looked like Deep Roy and we had laughs at that too. Anyways, it was hilarious. The End
